CAL/OSHA Award Sister company W.M. Lyles Co. was awarded the prestigious "Golden Gate Partnership Recognition" award for our performance at the Pacific Ethanol - Madera Ethanol Plant Project. This award required us to go above and beyond our already rigorous safety requirements to include partnering with CAL OSHA in setting up the construction project and pipe fabrication facility to safety standards well above the industry norm. |

Lyles Co. was recently honored by the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA), Western Pacific Chapter, with the DBIA Award for Best Project, Industrial/Process Sector. Located in Madera, California, the Pacific Ethanol Production Facility involved numerous challenges including ongoing design modifications, environmental concerns, and the complexity of constructing the largest ethanol plant west of the Rocky Mountains. All of these issues were eventually conquered, saving the Owner months on the schedule with proactive management techniques that included and on-site pipe fabrication facility and an impeccable safety record that received the California OSHA Golden Gate Partnership Recognition Award for Safety Excellence. |
